A new Sunday night teaching and ministry series will begin at 7 p.m. June 4 with Teen Challenge leading the kickoff. Young men in the Youngstown-based Teen Challenge program will lead worship and share testimonies that night as part of the launch of Abundant Life’s summer “Set the Captives Free” series that will run eight weeks.
Senior Pastor Jeff Schoch will teach and members of the church will minister to people who have needs throughout the series. The purpose of the series is to bring freedom to all who are struggling with specific problems or issues in everyday life. Everybody is welcome, and the church is encouraging all to invite friends and family members who may be dealing with a specific problem. In addition to the launch night, the remaining of the schedule includes the following dates and topics of teaching and ministry:

June 11: Addiction
June 25: Identity
July 2: Abuse
July 16: Depression
July 30: Economics
Aug. 20: Direction
Aug. 27: Celebration Concert

Those dates are the only times evening services will be conducted during the summer.
Schoch will present an overview of the series, including an explanation of how it came about, during the 10:30 a.m. service June 4.
